Spring is springing

Lots of exciting things have been going on quietly at the Lavender Farm! lots of plans for our summer opening.

DATES for OPENING : the Lavender Cafe will open its doors again on Friday April 7th and Saturday 8th: 10am to 2pm and continue to be open, as before, each Friday and Saturday until June 17th and then it will close, as it is then open as part of the farm for refreshments for our visitors visiting the lavender field.

The Lavender Field will be open on Wednesday June 28th , we cannot wait to welcome back our visitors again when the field will be in full bloom and the colour spectacular!

New for this season we will be selling our very own Lavender Ice cream tubs, so let us hope the weather is as good as last year and we can keep up with demand 😁

SPECIAL EVENINGS on 8th July and 22nd July . We are allowing two evenings in ‘The Golden Hour’ , when people can listen to live music, purchase food and drink, and wander or sit amongst the lavender for a very special calming evening, taking beautiful wildlife photographs or just soaking up the atmosphere. This is a ticket only event so please buy your tickets here places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment!

Special tours/talks about the Lavender and distillation process by our resident expert Ian (!) will take place every Wednesday and Thursday morning once the farm is open, please contact Ian for more information as this MUST be prebooked 07766501209 very limited places available as it will be small groups.

The lavender plants are definitely beginning to sprout now and are looking healthy, unfortunately some of our rosemary did not do well in the very cold snap before Christmas, so it looks like we may have lost some of those, which is a shame, but some things are beyond our control, and the weather is one!
