Lavender and Rosemary Goats Milk  Shampoo bar made using our very own essential oils and goats milk. This soap has been lovingly made in the uk using totally natural ingredients and essential oils

Changing to a shampoo bar is wonderful for your hair and the environment! but it can take from a few days to a few weeks to adjust, depending how much residual chemical is from your old shampoo. Your old detergent shampoo strips natural oils so your scalp makes more to compensate, as you can imagine it takes a little while for your scalp to accept that it doesn’t need to compensate any more as you are not stripping oils out!! during this short time you may find your hair feels a little extra greasy or heavy, make sure you rinse really well after shampooing.

Please do not give up straight away! your hair will thank you as goats milk really helps to nourish hair, its packed full of vitamins, minerals which helps to repair damaged hair and leaves it soft and manageable, its also wonderful for dry and sensitive scalps.

This is a fantastic shampoo bar that you can take anywhere without excess plastic packaging! suitable for all hair types

As well as a lovely fresh fragrance, rosemary oil may be known for some skin care benefits, it’s also good for your hair and scalp. It may help with dryness, itching, or other scalp problems

keep the bar dry between uses

  • You can lather the bar between wet hands and apply it to your wet hair (as you would with a liquid shampoo).
  • Or you can wet the bar and apply it to wet hair, rubbing in circular motions down the strands.

Finally, rinse out and repeat as needed. We’d always suggest doing a double shampoo.

Depending on your hair type you may need a little conditioner at the end of your hair.

precautions :

Here are some considerations and precautions regarding rosemary oil and its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:

However the rosemary oil is diluted in our products

  1. Lack of research: There is limited direct research on the effects of rosemary oil specifically during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, it is best to err on the side of caution and avoid using rosemary oil during this time.
  2. Potential adverse effects: Anecdotal evidence suggests that rosemary oil may have adverse effects on pregnant women or those with high blood pressure levels. However, more direct research is needed to confirm these claims.
  3. Seek professional advice: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and considering using rosemary oil for hair growth, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare provider or a qualified dermatologist before proceeding. They can provide personalised recommendations and help assess any potential risks.
