ticket and opening times
lavender field

The lavender field is NOW CLOSED

We were overwhelmed by all our fabulous visitors, and welcome all the lovely comments and feedback, it was sad to close the field for another year , but we really look forward to June 28th 2023 when we will open our doors again for another 28 days!! and hope for the beautiful sunshine of last year to shine again.

Parking is free, pay at cafe (£5 per person ,day ticket, over 10 years old) for access to the lavender field and picnic areas, purchase on day of visit, no tickets are required to be pre booked.  However a group guided tour of the field and distillation shed MUST be prebooked with Ian on 07766501209

Obviously some days will be busier than others, but we will try not to restrict numbers, so everyone gets a chance to visit the beautiful field, as the field is a large area able to accommodate everyone. The cafe is small though, so please allow for some delays for hot drinks at very busy times, but its worth the wait!

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate coaches.

Monday  : CLOSED

Tuesday : CLOSED

Wednesday CLOSED

Friday CLOSED

Saturday CLOSED

Sunday CLOSED

Please be aware this is a working field, with rabbits and moles etc, so the ground is uneven in places and in wet weather the grass maybe slippery, please wear appropriate shoes/ boots.

Children must be supervised at all times, as the lavender plants get damaged if they are jumped on! this is bad for the plants and spoils it for others too.

There are only grass paths around the field, so be aware if using a wheelchair or pushchairs, however the lavender can be viewed from all areas fairly easily, the field is a short walk from the car parking area, so should be accessible for those with limited mobility.

We share the lavender with lots of wildlife, particularly bees, so do take care, and full responsibility of yourselves if you are walking close to the lavender and touching it!

We do not allow picking of the lavender, but there will be lavender bunches for sale, subject to availability on the day.

Please respect the privacy of our neighbours and do not go too close to the back boundary of the field

The Lavender Cafe … please see separate page

Our pond has deepwater so please keep children under close supervision at all times . NO SWIMMING or paddling is permitted, it is for wildlife only!
